Rules and guidelines

  • By using this site you agree to follow the rules and guidelines. If you fail to respect other users or abide by the rules, your access to the site may be restricted, suspended or revoked altogether, temporarily or permanently.
  • We may update, amend or change the rules at any time without prior warning, it is your responsibility as a user to make sure you know and understand the rules and terms of use.
  • The administrators of this site reserve the right to edit or remove any content without warning or explanation if necessary.
  • Users who repeatedly post inappropriate content may be subject to moderation or banned.

All forum users shall:

  • ​Obey forum rules.
  • Avoid posting content that's inappropriate for a site of this nature.
  • Respect the decisions of moderators and administrators.
  • Respect all other forum users and treat them as you would like to be treated.
  • Avoid deliberately posting defamatory, libellous or offensive content.
  • Keep their login credentials safe and private, and not allow anyone else to log in using them.

This site does not tolerate:

  • ​Any kind of spam. Any content of a promotional nature has to be approved by an administrator prior to posting.
  • Swearing and abusive or offensive language.
  • Remarks that can be regarded as racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic or attacks against specific groups of people.
  • Disruptive behaviour, flaming and trolling.
  • Insults, personal attacks or name calling.
  • Explicit or obscene content, including links to third party sites.
  • Knowingly defamatory, libellous or slanderous remarks against any individual or organisation. You may post your personal experiences with an organisation as long as you state that's what they are.
  • Promotion of any illegal activity such as substance abuse, prescription drug abuse, fraud, deception, scams, etc.
  • Posting up other people's personal details such as real names or email addresses.
  • Using the site for the purpose of file-sharing or distribution of copyrighted content such as music or software.
  • Attempts to pass off as another user, for example, by deliberately choosing a similar username.

Private messaging

Private messaging is a privilege, not a right. Misuse or abuse of this feature may result in withdrawal of the facility and/or banning. You may use the PM facility to communicate personal information you do not wish to share publicly, however, you should be aware of the following:
  • Forum users are not vetted or verified in any way. If you don't know who you are corresponding with, do not share any sensitive information.
  • There is no guarantee that the content of a PM will not be shared with someone else.
  • With a few exceptions, the rules for PMs are similar to those for forum posts with regards to inappropriate content, abusive language, etc. PMs can be reported to the administrators and users are encouraged to report any abusive, offensive or otherwise inappropriate PMs.
  • Spam is not allowed in PMs.

Keep your personal details safe:

  • Any documents posted publicly should be suitably redacted, removing any personal information that may identify you.
  • If you see any personal details on any document posted please report it to site admin.
  • Attachments with visible details will be removed.​

We will not be held responsible for the content of any third party sites linked to from this site. The administrators reserve the right to remove any external links for whatever reason and to block specific websites.
