If you want to be notified whenever someone replies to a thread, you can subscribe to that thread. To subscribe to a thread, click on Thread Tools on the top right hand side of the first post on the desired thread, they choose Subscribe to this Thread.
You will be taken to your user control panel, where you can choose how you wish to be notified about any new posts on the thread. You can choose from the following options:
- Through my Control Panel- lists the subscription in your User CP only. You do not receive any email notifications.
- Instant Email Notification - sends an email as soon as a new post is added to the thread. This is not sent for every reply and will only be sent once until you revisit the forums.
- Daily Email Notification - sends one email a day with the new and updated threads in the forum and any sub-forums. If there are no new or updated threads in the forum or its sub-forums then you will not receive an email.
- Weekly Email Notification - sends one email per week in the same way as the Daily Email Notification.
You can unsubscribe from a subscribe thread by clicking on Thread Tools, if you are already subscribed, the option will change to Unsubscribe.

You can manage your subscriptions and email notifications from your User control panel. To access it, click on settings, the first box on the left has links to your subscriptions. You can organise them into folders and choose which threads to unsubscribe from and when to receive email alerts for each one of them.
You can choose whether to automatically subscribe to any thread you start or post on and when to get notified by changing your Default Thread Subscription Mode. To access the default settings for all new threads you post on, go to My Settings, under My Account choose General Settings.
By default, you will be subscribed to all threads you post on, including new topics you start. This is so you can get notified as soon as someone replies to your topic. You can change the default setting so you only subscribe to those threads you choose rather than any thread you post on. You can also change the default notification method if you don't want to receive an email every time someone posts on a subscribed thread.
